Advanced FESS and Anterior Skull Base Course

This course, led by the distinguished and well known Professor Prepageran will focus on the following:

  • Going quite quickly through the ‘basic FESS’
  • Spending time on the different approaches to the frontal sinus (including the Modified Lothrop)
  • Endoscopic Medial Maxillectomy
  • DCR
  • Access to the pituitary fossa
  • Different vacularised flap options to cover skull base defects
  • Infra-orbital and optic nerve decompression

1 fresh frozen head will be shared between 2 delegates.

The course is mainly hands on with live demonstrations by Professor Prepageran before each dissection.

Format

  • Hands-on focus: Each step demonstrated live by Professor Prepageran, followed by supervised dissection
  • Cadaveric dissection: One fresh frozen head will be shared between two delegates

This advanced course is designed for ENT surgeons with prior experience in endoscopic sinus surgery who wish to refine their skills and extend their expertise to more complex procedures.
